Team Building

Although there are numerous definitions, here at Teamworkz we believe that Teambuilding is the facilitation process used to develop a group of individuals into a cohesive team unit - people working together to achieve common goals. In today's multi-cultural, multi-lingual workplace this is harder to achieve than it ever has been before. In today's ever-increasingly competitive world, creating a cohesive team unit should be an essential (although very often overlooked) part of any organizations' objectives.

Leading a team can be difficult. Managing a diverse group of people with different needs and motivations is never easy. If these differences are not recognised and valued then low morale and poor team effectiveness may result.

Team building facilitators are often used to improve a team's cohesiveness by challenging current communication and thought processes with regard to other people within that organization. By utilizing a neutral person and a neutral space, new ideas can be introduced without the individuals of the group feeling threatened by the idea of change.
